The pretty much anticipated comeback for 宣萱 (Jessica Hsuan) & 林文龙 (Frankie Lam) to TVB, our favourite pairing of Saving & Cherry by 王浩信 (Vincent Wong) & 唐诗咏 (Natalie Tong).

It’s a breakthrough for黎诺懿 (Chris Lai) who’s such a horrible boyfriend who two-timed and also being unscrupulous as work,高海寧 (Samantha Ko) as a woman who knows how to manipulate her way through men’s hearts and Vincent Wong as the very thrifty yet痴情 Saving.

Is it necessary for women to know how to 撒娇, or is that just a plus point?

The director probably wanted viewers to discover the softer side of Hong Kong women. Their way of being “gentle” is to support their other halves through thick and thin. The story also goes indepth into infidelity issues, women getting married only after 30 years also and some other societal topics.

You would swoon at the 2 romances in the drama, especially that of Cherry and Saving.

不懂撒娇的女人, is definitely one HK drama you need to watch in 2017.Read More →

This is probably one of my more favourite dramas in the 1st half of 2017.

It’s gonna be one of Park Seo Joon’s big break since “Kill Me Heal Me” & “She Was Pretty”. The “JoonWon” couple would be one of the most shipped couples in 2017 with their superbly funny and explosive chemistry.

The drama has been highly popular due to the following points:

– Down to earth and very relatable storyline for commoners like you and I,
– Absolutely great chemistry between the “Fantastic Four” and all the funny scenes
– Relatable quotes in every episode that you will love

It’s a 温馨小品 that would warm your heart a little and also re-lit some of your long buried passions.

Watch it, you wouldn’t regret it.Read More →

A refreshing fantasy- reality themed drama which is thrilling, exciting, full of suspense and keeps your mind churning as you watch. There are many life philosophies & a test to humanity that you can relate to.

It’s isn’t common that you have a Real World & ManHwa (Comic) World existing together in the same dimension.

It’s typically comical with a few heart-thumping moments, though much heartache comes in the later part of the series.

When rules of the game keep changing with many twists and turns, it’s hard for you to even feel bored at all.

How much would you give up for the one that you love? You just can’t help but find yourself deeply enthralled into the romance of Kang Chul and Oh Yeon Joo as well.

You just can’t wait to complete the drama at one go!Read More →

Unlike most “peak hour” dramas, The Master’s Sun has an interesting horror genre, with funny, heart-thumping, sad, yet touching elements. Each episode comprises of a “moral of the story”, with regards to the respective “ghosts” featured.

Adding horror to the pot of “rojak” mix, gives this drama a refreshing twist.

It’s So Ji Sub’s 1st romantic comedy drama. Because he’s just so good in melodramas, I’d never thought that he could literally make people laugh in his dramas.

Your heart cringe if he tears but you will roar into laughter if you see him trying to act AEGYO, and yet you would still find him cute when he asks people to “Get Lost”.

So Ji Sub’s chemistry with Gong Hyo Jin is just so on point. Their camaraderie made the drama so fun and enjoyable to watch, that it was typically so hard to click the “stop” button.

When 2 opposite poles, with a domineering CEO (Master) being put together with someone who has such a bright and sunshine personality like Gong Shi (Tae Yang aka Sun), there’s bound to be plenty of sparks and chemistry.

You just gotta watch it for yourself to really feel the impact.

Sometimes it is not what you can see that is the scariest.

The scariest are those that you can see, but you never know what they would do or think behind your back.

It is important that we need to seek a closure for our hearts (pertaining to some chapters in our lives), not for anyone else, but for us to be able to move on.

“The Master’s Sun” is bound to bring you on an emotional roller coaster ride while braving through some scary scenes, yet you would just hang on to it till the very end.Read More →
